Enjoy a hands-on three-day workshop where you’ll connect deeply with others, laugh, share, listen and mandalalearn how to build positive relationships with your family, your job, your classroom, and your community. Prepare to master new ways to cope with conflict!


  • Treat yourself to this workshop for personal growth and earn a certificate useful in job applications and resumés.
  • Learn how to lead workshops in your community with the Alternatives to Violence Project (AVP). AVP, begun in 1975, is active worldwide. 

When:        February 24-26, 2017

Friday:        6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.

Saturday:    8:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.

Sunday:      8:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.

                         (Participants will attend all three days.)


Where: Trinity Church

503 Asbury Ave, Asbury Park, NJ 07712


Who: The workshop will be run by trained AVP volunteers who lead workshops at nonprofit groups, community centers, and prisons in New Jersey.


How much: $50 suggested voluntary donation to cover materials, lunch and snacks. However, no one will be turned away for inability to pay. Registration deadline is Feb. 22.
