About the event
Learn how to be a peacemaker! https://tinyurl.com/avpnj-2024-10/
Do you want to be a peacemaker? Then sign up for this interactive workshop with the Alternatives to Violence Project. Using people’s life experiences and hands-on exercises, we explore how to respond peacefully in conflict situations where frustration and anger can lead to hostility. This is also a first step in learning to facilitate peace programs in your community.
This AVP workshop helps us to:
Understand why conflict happens
Manage strong feelings such as anger and fear
Communicate well in difficult situations
Be true to ourselves while respecting others
Activate the peacemaking skills we already have
